Delivery & Payment

MORITA MFG provides shipping across Japan for fishing tackle, reels, rods, and outdoor angling gear. Orders are dispatched from our domestic logistics hub to maintain prompt delivery timelines and protect delicate components.

Delivery methods
Doorstep delivery
Registered courier transport directly to your street address: premises, apartment, municipality, and postal code. A delivery signature may be required for parcels valued over ¥12,000.
Pickup point
Retrieve your order from an authorized collection depot or parcel locker nearby. The shipment is retained for 7 days before being returned to our workshop.

Stated transit periods measure business days from dispatch. More isolated regions may require an extra 1-2 days.

Order processing

Orders finalized prior to 15:30 on a business day ship the same afternoon. Orders logged past the cutoff, over weekends, or on public holidays dispatch the subsequent business day. An order confirmation containing your tracking identifier arrives immediately after checkout.

Fishing rods are encased in rigid tubular shipping sleeves or heavy-walled cartons to prevent structural stress during transit. Mechanical reels and terminal tackle are wrapped in multi-layer shock-dampening bubble wrap and enclosed in moisture-resistant exterior boxes.

Tracking your parcel

When your consignment is dispatched, a dispatch confirmation is sent via email and SMS containing a carrier parcel number that allows real-time route monitoring.

Lost or delayed parcel

Should package tracking display no movement across 5 business days, notify us at contact@MORITA MFG with your order details. We launch a carrier investigation and either reship the hardware or refund the order in full, at your discretion, within 10 business days of notice.

Damaged on arrival

Examine your package on arrival and report visible transport damage or structural breakage within 48 hours to our support team with photographic proof of outer packaging and contents to receive an immediate replacement.

Payment methods
Cash on delivery
Hand the payment to the courier when the package arrives. Advance payment is not required.
Bank transfer
Remit payment to our business account using the details displayed after checkout and in your receipt email. Dispatch occurs once funds clear, typically within one business day.

We process Cash on delivery, Bank transfer. We never solicit credit card details or online banking credentials via phone or email.

Delivery outside Japan

We deliver to selected countries. The checkout page states the cost and transit time for each destination before payment. Any import duties that apply are paid by the recipient.
